Katumba are a dynamic drumming and movement collective based in Liverpool – in their own words, they are “a fierce fusion of UK big beat, Caribbean calypso and the carnivals of Northeast Brazil – Katumba create an explosion of rhythmic revelry that you can’t help but dance to”.

That sums them up pretty well – and I was more than happy to help them with their email marketing, so that they could continue to flourish and grow! This was accomplished via MailChimp, and involved creating templates, writing and formatting emails, planning and compiling audiences, and gathering analytics data for reporting. I also wrote blogs and site content for their website, which fed into the MailChimp campaigns and helped to provide a consistent message for members and prospective drummers alike!
